“Missing Nicola Bulley” – is this another media psychological operation?

“Missing Nicola Bulley” – is this another media psychological operation?

I don’t know the exact numbers but here in the UK, a fair few people go missing all the time, some are found again after a short period of time, while others seemingly vanish without a trace.

Strangely enough, one particular missing person case is garnering a lot of media attention, and I’m wondering why…

On 27th January 2023, 45 year old mother of two Nicola Bulley, a mortgage advisor from Inskip in Lancashire, went missing while walking her dog along the River Wyre after dropping her children off at school.

I first became ‘aware’ of this story when my local Reach rag the Birmingham Mail started running a couple of stories about it, despite the fact the woman was from Lancashire and had no connection to Birmingham or the West Midlands. (This isn’t that uncommon as anyone who visits any ‘local’ Reach news site will often find irrelevant content lifted from other sites)

It’s been over three weeks now, and there is still no sign of her, yet the UK news media is unrelenting in its coverage of this story.

There’s definitely something ‘off’ with this whole story, but I’m not here to speculate on ‘what happened’ as it seems many others are doing now.

I hear there are numerous groups on Facebook, which people can join in order to either help in the search or to speculate and discuss what may or may not have happened. I don’t bother with TikTok, but I understand a number of TikTokers have been decamping to St Michaels-on-Wyre, to ‘do their own investigations’, or just making ‘commentary’ videos on the subject, as have numerous YouTubers.

It was a YouGov poll, that first led me to think that this story is some massive psychological operation.

YouGov Daily Poll – 9th February 2023

Of all the questions they could have asked, they just wanted to know ‘how closely’ people were following this story?

It seems to me that with all the numerous news articles, as well as hours of TikTok and YouTube videos, and other social media posts that people are commenting on, one can’t help but feel that this is some kind of psychological operation being played on the people, something to keep people distracted, something for people to focus their attention on, instead of something else.

What is the ulterior purpose or motive though? At this point, I don’t really know – there appears to be some kind of insinuation about ‘police incompetence’ being played out.

The story does appear to be ‘unfolding’ like a soap-opera plotline would though, and I do genuinely wonder if this is all somehow being ‘faked’ or staged.

It certainly has a passing resemblance to how the Madeleine McCann ‘story’ played out and unfolded through the media at the time (and still does occasionally even after all these years), so I suspect this Nicola Bulley ‘mystery’ is going to drag on for a few more weeks yet… until the next ‘media interest’ emerges.

Be wary of what the media is trying to focus your attention on, and be mindful of the stories being ‘buried’ that you should be aware of instead…

Happened upon your forum when duckduckgo ” ing why Turkish Barbers are proliferating and propagating around the disunited kingdumb, in customer low shops in locations charging High St rental prices. No need to be an economist to ponder this supply demand conundrum. Keep up the challenge to what is fed by the media.
